Obscure Illumination
1st-level Illusion
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Self/Touch, 5 feet
Components: A pinch of any fine ash-like material (e.g. soot/dust) scattered
Duration: Concentration, up to 8 hours

Casting Components: Verbal, Material, Somatic

Effect: When you cast this spell it causes a single light source within range to 'disappear' to everyone but the spellcaster. The effect is immobile but can be cast on a movable object.

A creature may make a Perception check with disadvantage against the caster’s Spell Save DC. On a success they can see the light source. A creature that knows the spell has been cast has advantage on the Perception check.

At Higher Levels. For each level above 1st that the spell is cast at, the caster may select an additional creature within range of the spell to allow them to see the light source without a perception check.
