General Discussion[edit]

On matters of my Warden, Variant, I sadly don't have any intention to finish the class. If you would like to take ownership of my class I would not mind. But I must still thank you for your feedback and suggestions since they are valid and helpful to the completion of the class. I hope I did this Talk thing right and that you receive my message. --I cannot code bleh (talk) 18:25, 4 December 2018 (MST)

A Message from Glass[edit]

So you were the one that made the Variant Engineer. First of all, I do humbly apologize for making edits to your creation, but I had some reasons. Reasons that I'd like to share with you sometime. Secondly, I'm glad I've finally found a way to get in touch with you. Well, not exactly a direct message line, but it's a start. And finally, I apologize for editing your personal page as well, but I'm sure you can fix it, maybe leave a message of your own in here as well. I'll be watching this page for your reply. Adios for now {{unsigned|Glass}

This message was originally posted on SWP's user page, so I moved it to this talk page. Carry on. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 12:27, 14 November 2018 (MST)

Glass, I appreciate your personal reply on my request. No real harm was done. I'm not above improving classes that I create and I welcome feedback as long as it is presented in a constructive and polite way. Long-story-short: You could have just asked me first. I understand why you did it as I have been on the receiving end of this discussion. I would be glad to discuss your ideas sometime, as I believe you must have a lot of creative insights.--SilverWritingPen (talk) 05:41, 21 November 2018 (MST)

Huh, so this was where you responded. Seems like I was one link away from it. But I do like your work on a mesh between magic and machine, in not just one but both classes. Sure, a few things here and there could be patched up, but I am genuinely curious about some more details. I guess, in short, I wouldn't mind picking your brain sometime. And p.s., how do you do signatures on here? And what would a signature do? Signed, Glass.

A Signature basically shows who responded. When you go to "edit" to edit the text you want you'll see a button send last from the end on the menu. It helps others see who left a comment and visit your profile.--SilverWritingPen (talk) 16:00, 4 December 2018 (MST)

So, let's talk engineering; your Variant Engineer class is rather well-designed, but I fear that it's lacking in certain areas, especially concerning versatility and the like. Talk with me on my page and we can talk details, sound cool? Glass (talk) 19:39, 17 December 2018 (MST)

Merry Christmas, amigo! 🎅 Glass (talk) 11:22, 24 December 2018 (MST)

Also, I've finished my analysis in the Engineer sub-class studies. I've written up the comments on my page. Glass (talk) 14:56, 24 December 2018 (MST)

Everything alright? You never got back to me on the Variant Engineer stuff, so I hope everything is okay. Glass (talk) 21:19, 11 January 2019 (MST)

Everything is OK Glass. Sorry I was working like crazy these days. I'll have time probably during the weekend.--SilverWritingPen (talk) 05:25, 17 January 2019 (MST)

Alright, just got worried for a little bit there, was all. I myself was getting kinda busy myself, between the Huntsman and Psycho classes I've been trying to help. Glass (talk) 20:24, 24 January 2019 (MST)

Glad to hear you're okay, amigo. I myself have been thinking of different concepts for different classes and such. Glass (talk) 18:03, 13 March 2019 (MDT)

My God, man. No wonder you put a limit on the number of gauntlets one can wield. I may have accidentally broken a mini-boss that the GM threw my way due to the sheer amount of force damage I've been dealing out. Still, can't exactly say it was a cakewalk, as my Engineer would be dead about, eh, 3 times over if it weren't for the Cleric. Glass (talk) 22:58, 10 May 2019 (MDT)

Oh wow!! Well, the concept of the Signature device was that it is unique. Its abilities describe the thing that the device could do. Just getting another one out of thin air seemed way off from my part. (Plus it is waaaaaay OP to have two gauntlets). Also, a Technotheurge would have a free hand to use his other gauntlet. I'm glad you'll still alive in your game though, Bless that cleric!!! (Divine Pun Intented) :) --SilverWritingPen (talk) 01:12, 11 May 2019 (MDT)

Ha! Best pun I've heard in a while. I've been coming up with new ideas to tinker with, both for combat and exploration in regards to this campaign. Not gonna lie, having a Cleric will work wonders for this, assuming he actually wants to work together on this. Glass (talk) 19:19, 12 May 2019 (MDT)
