Zeus’s Lightning Bolt (5e Equipment)

Weapon, Artifact (Requires Attunment) Zeus’s Lightning Bolt is a super powerful item that turns it’s user into a immortal god. Zeus’s Lightning Bolt was originally created along with Poseidon’s Trident and Hades’s Helm (Though none of them were called this yet) by the titan Kronos. He used their combined power to seal the gates of the underworld. He protected the world from evil for millions of years until one day he realized that he wasn’t enough to protect the world. He decided to pass on his power to his three sons. His first son who was named Hades was given the responsibility to stop evils from bellow from emerging. He was given Hades’s Helm and the power of the earth. His second son was given the responsibility of stoping evils of the ocean from arising. He was given Poseidon’s Trident and the power of the ocean. His third son who was named Zeus (after himself) was tasked with stopping evils of the sky from descending into the world. He was given Zeus’s Lightning Bolt, the power of the sky, thunder and lightning. Zeus’s Lightning Bolt functions as a Vorpal Sword, Belt of Storm Giant Strength and a Flametongue (except that it deals lightning damage instead of fire) Godly Nature. While you are attuned to Zeus’s Lightning Bolt you have the celestial creature type as well as any other ones you already are. You don’t need to eat, sleep, breath or drink. Immortality. While attuned to Zeus’s Lightning Bolt you don’t age and can’t be aged magically. Destruction To Destroy Zeus's Lightning Bolt, you must kill a Celestial-type Creature of CR 4 or higher. The Bolt with then explode in a shower of sparks dealing 1d8 Lightning damage to everyone in a 5 foot radius. |
