Description[edit]

The YK32 Pulse Pistol is not technically a pulse weapon, but a gun that shoots electrical pulses effective against organics as well as electronics. Developed by the Yuma Flats Energy Consortium, the powerful weapon was never considered practical due to its inefficient energy usage and bulky design.

d20 Modern Rules[edit]

The YK32 ignores Defense bonuses from light and medium armor.

  • Brotherhood of Steel (Variant): The BOS variant uses the same stats as the regular YK32 pulse pistol (including its ability to be modded), except it gains a +1 equipment bonus to Initiative and range increases to 25 feet due to expert recalibration techniques and the price increases by +1/+10.
Craft/Repair[edit]
  • Craft: (Parts DC: 50; Parts Used: 20; Craft DC 35; Time: 60h) The YK32 pulse pistol can be crafted at a Weapon Crafting Table with a Craft (mechanical) skill check if the crafter possesses the schematics for it.
  • Repair: (Parts DC: 40; Parts Used: 10; Repair DC 25; Time: 10h) A YK32 pulse pistol can be repaired with mechanical parts with a Repair check. Alternatively, another YK32 pulse pistol can be used in place of parts (a Repair check is still required). This gun is affected by the Jury Rigging feat, and as such can use other pulse weapons for parts if the feat is possessed.
