Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Missing rarity. What kind of action do you need to use to use this item? The bat should be a weapon (club) instead of a wondrous item. 20:29, 11 December 2024 (UTC)

Wondrous item, Unknown (Major) (No)

You may raise an unconscious creature 6 times per day or resurrect a dead creature once per day. In the case of resurrection the Bat will follow the normal rules of the resurrection spell (PHB, pg 272) with a list of exceptions. The creature does not have to be free or willing and it will return then to life with only 1 hit point. In the case of a creature being resurrected from old age, the creature will be brought back to life and will have 1d10 days left until their body dies again and they are to be considered to have died of old age.

The entire body must be present since the Wonder Bat needs to physically make contact in order to work. The Wonder Bat may make contact with any body part of an unconscious creature, but must make contact with the head of a dead creature if resurrection is attempted.

If the Wonder Bat is used on a stable living creature it deals 1d4 bludgeoning damage, if this damage would knock a creature unconscious, they are brought to 1 hit point and a single charge will be spent.

The Wonder Bat indistinguishable from a normal wooden bat.
