Wondrous item, rarity varies (minor) A whetstone that glows a vibrant hue for each elemental affinity it has. A whetstone can only be attuned to one element, and it cannot be changed. You can spend 1 hour sharpening a nonmagical weapon that deals piercing or slashing damage with this whetstone. The whetstone then becomes nonmagical. For 1 hour, the weapon becomes magical and deals additional damage determined by the whetstone's type and rarity. The whetstone has no effect on magical items.
