Wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement by a cleric)

The fabric of these robes is a weave crafted from threads of the Void, created by the first, and most powerful, cleric of the Void Domain. The wearer of these robes becomes a wellspring of umbral power and ceases to be anchored by the restrictions of existence.
This beautiful set of robes is the truest manifestation of the Void, and one who chooses to sheathe themselves in them becomes one with the Void, gaining the following benefits:

  • If you aren't wearing armor, your base Armor Class is 15 + your Wisdom modifier.
  • You gain blindsense with a range of 60 feet.
  • You gain the ability to cast counterspell as a 3rd level spell without expending a spell slot.

Curse. While attuned to this item, your name is lost, stricken from history, the present, and the future. Those closest to you, through bonds of family, friendship, and love will know you, and know their love for you, but will not know your name. You will leave no legacy upon death. In addition, if you die while attuned to this item, your body will disappear, being permanently deposited within the Void. You can not be revived or resurrected in any way. Not even the true resurrection or wish spells can bring you back to life.

Curse. You can not unattune from this item without the use of a wish spell.
