Vileblood Noble[edit]

The Cainhurst Castle, [1]

Once, the halls of Cainhurst rang with the echoes of grandeur and decadence. The Vilebloods, an aristocratic order blessed—or cursed—by forbidden blood, stood apart from Yharnam’s Healing Church. Their defiance and indulgence in corrupted blood earned them the Church’s wrath, culminating in their near annihilation. Yet, even in ruin, the blood of Cainhurst persists in its few remaining scions, noble in lineage and feared in nature.

As a Vileblood Noble, you are among the last remnants of this forgotten order. Whether you seek revenge against the Church, wish to restore the glory of Cainhurst, or merely indulge in the finer aspects of immortality, your aristocratic heritage and bloodlust shape your every step.

Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in Persuasion and History.

Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with Calligrapher’s Supplies or Poisoner’s Kit.

Equipment: A signet ring of Cainhurst, a noble’s outfit stained with old blood, a small vial of Cainhurst blood, and a pouch containing 15 blood echoes.

Feature: Blood of Cainhurst[edit]

The blood running through your veins is unlike that of common folk. Other nobles and those who recognize the Vileblood lineage will treat you with either deep reverence or intense hostility, depending on their allegiance. You can secure lodging and assistance from those who still honor Cainhurst’s name, such as secretive aristocrats or those who collect forbidden relics.

Additionally, if you consume fresh blood, you can stave off exhaustion and minor ailments without the need for rest, though excessive indulgence may have unforeseen consequences.
