Versatile Combatant (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Versatile Combatant
Prerequisites: Strength or Dexterity 13 or higher
You are adept at multiple styles of combat, and are capable of using weapons in ways most cannot even fathom.
When you gain this feat, choose one melee weapon that you are proficient in and does not have the versatile property. While wiedling the chosen weapon, you gain the following benefits:
- The chosen weapon is considered to have the versatile property for you.
- If you wield a weapon that does not have the two-handed property with two hands, its damage dice becomes one size larger, to a maximum of d12. For example, d4 becomes d6, and d8 becomes d12.
- You can ignore the two-handed property of the chosen weapon, but if you wield the weapon with one hand, its damage dice becomes one size smaller, to a minimum of d4, For example, d10 becomes d8, and d6 becomes d4.
- When making a weapon attack with the chosen weapon, you can use either Strength or Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.
You can select this feat multiple times. Each time you do so, you choose another melee weapon of your choice.
