QUESTIONS[edit]

um, sorry to bother you or take your time but, if I may ask, on the race page, why is the android race not there? Because I've been lead to believe that, the only way you can become an Android is through gaining the legendary technique to do so but most DM's don't go past level 20. Thank you for your time. It’s not a bother at all, and please don’t ever feel that way when you have questions or just need to talk! To answer your question, I’ve been going through the Dragon Ball 5e Campaign-Setting page to update it since when it was last made given a good update, it was years ago. You are correct in the Android Race (and by extension the Bio-Android Race) not being on the Race page. And you’re also further correct in that it can currently only be obtained through the Legendary technique. The techniques are weirdly organized and while most of them seem to be fine, some are weirdly placed (like the Android technique). But, as fat as I can tell, the reason it isn’t its own race is because technically anyone can become an Android (and Bio-Android). If it was its own race it would be a lot more restricted than it currently already is. --Theonebroccoli (talk) 06:23, 4 February 2024 (MST)

If I may add my two cents since I was around when this class came up, the android technique can be gained by anyone if the DM so wishes even if they're not at the appropriate level as in the treasures page at the bottom there are a list of epic boons. One of them allow you to gain techniques that you normally wouldn't be able to at your current level, a DM can either use that for a character below the required level. Or they can just make an exception for the character. P@uL (talk) 07:12, 4 February 2024 (MST)

Thank you both for answering my questions. --Nato335

________

Hello Theonebrocolli.

I would like to ask about the Digital Monster class. I am personally a fan of Digimon and was hoping to use this class a few years back but it was not finished yet so I decided to wait. I came back to it today and see that it was last updated 9 January 2023.

Is the class going to stop there? Is there anything I can do to help. Please let me know.

Hello! First off, I'd like to apologize for the long wait and my response. I didn't have a chance to respond yesterday because I was working and then had to do some shopping for Easter. But, to answer your question, the class is not stopping there! It's been going slow because life has been kicking me up and down recently, and I just forgot about it amidst the chaos. I still plan on updating it(in fact, thanks to your reminder, I plan on getting back to it this week to keep working as it's my spring break so I'll be free when I'm not working)! And I appreciate you asking if there's anything you think you can do to help. I'm probably going to completely overhaul the class from the ground up and restart it, but you can feel free to just pitch-in however you see fit. It's not a solo project by any means, so if you have any ideas about what I should do or think you can clean up wording, etc. etc., feel free to do so! Hope that helped? --Theonebroccoli (talk) 08:48, 31 March 2024 (MDT)
