Request

Hey so, I've noticed that you have been editing some stuff on the stand user variant OC alignments, and I would on the behalf of the stand user variant discord ask you to please stop, the stand was balanced as is and removing the intentional nerf on the users hit-dice the stand has to make it somewhat balanced is not exactly what we want, so we would like you to stop making edits like that, if you wish to make your own OC stand alignment that is fine, so long as you follow the standard template for stands. --Delguin (talk) 12:18, 15 November 2022 (MST) On the behalf of the stand user variant discord server. Please have a splended day or night.

Warning:Template Removal[edit]

Some of your recent edits seem as though they may go against the spirit of balance such as here and here. I don't necessarily mean that they are not changes that could be made, but the changes seem significant, rather than tweaks. Remember that you can use the edit summary to illustrate your reasoning, especially for complex edits, and use the 'Show preview' and 'Show changes' buttons to aid you in making sure your changes are as intended. You can also use the talk pages to discuss potential issues you notice.

Most recently, you removed a template without addressing the concerns raised in it, while changing when subclass features are gained for the class which is incongruent with how the class itself describes when those features are to be acquired. Also you accidentally removed the Copyright Disclaimer. I'm going to give you an official warning. Please see Constructive Editing and D&D Guidelines for general advice and take care when editing. Descendant of Medaka Kurokami[edit]

Hey forgot to give you a response on about how it is now. I say it looks good; you've done an amazing job on it. I only have just 1 question for you. Do you want this Exceptional Abilities to be used for Skills, normal checks and saving throws? Or are you looking for something more specific from one of the three? TheInfamousSage (talk)

Accelerator (JJK Supplement Innate Technique)[edit]

Hi! I had a few questions concerning this technique. Firstly, is "Clonoth" a feature you've yet to make? Secondly, under immense calculations, can you clear up when it says

You cannot reduce and double the cost of any of its features using Tokyo School reductions ... if you have Jujutsu Genius, you no longer double the cost, and if you have Six Eyes, you can now reduce the costs

I cannot figure out if it means that all ability costs are doubled, and if you have Jujutsu Genius they are halved, or if they're only doubled if you attach a Tokyo School reduction to them. If the first case is right, are all costs already adjusted to being doubled, or are they the base cost with Jujutsu Genius? If the second case is true, does the reduction still not reduce but doubles the cost anyway (essentially making it useless?) Or does it reduce but the cost is doubled afterwards, and if we have Jujutsu genius does it cancel the doubling and not the reduction? And is the Six Eyes a standalone reduction or the only way to allow reductions period?--Deus (talk) 14:28, 9 October 2024 (MDT)

Okay, firstly, it's meant to say

You cannot reduce the cost of any of its features using Tokyo School reductions and the costs of the features are doubled.

, my fault, I'll fix that when I can. Clonoth is something that's already made, it's a background feat specifically tied to the accelerator technique, it just isn't there.

If you have jujutsu genius, you no longer have to pay double the cost of the abilities but still cannot reduce them. If you have the Six Eyes, the cost is still doubled but you can reduce the cost as per Six Eyes cost reduction. If you have both, you no longer have to double the cost AND you can reduce the costs as per Six Eyes. And you first double, then reduce. Not the other way around. --Nato335

Thank you very much for your timely and thorough reply! This clears up a lot of things. I have been running a campaign using this specific innate technique for one of my players, as well as the enhanced durability optional rules. It has been a little rough, so this has clarified some things for me most definitely. You mentioned you had already created Clonoth, would it be possible to get a copy of the background feat or is it going to be posted in the near future? They haven't been feeling super satisfied with it and I feel that letting them have it (though normally you only take them upon creation) would help them feel a little better using their abilities--Deus (talk) 14:35, 12 October 2024 (MDT)

New gravity feats[edit]

Hey Nato, I hope you're having a good day. I got a little inspired today and, with some free time, I added a few new feats to the gravity feats section. Let me know your thoughts on them. I also think the previous option for the background feat could return due to new horizons, of course, if the addition I made doesn’t convince you. Goodbye. --Mr. Knight
