Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello Lyrad8791 and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended you make sure your user preferences match your preferences. I am an admin (and, actually, the owner as well). Everything relating to admins can be found here.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that pages talk page. All other questions should be asked to another; user, admin, or me, the owner (ask me a question).

Formatting

Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to ask specific D&D-related questions on DnD Discussions. Anyway, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 13:14, 13 January 2011 (MST)

My world, Peroan[edit]

Any and all talk attributed to my World or any of my creatures goes under this heading, please and thank you. A brief outline of my world is thus: About 2,000 years ago, a small meteor (known around the world as a chunk of a star) hit the planet. This wiped out a large portion of the population. Those who wanted to leave the Island that it was going towards did so in many fleets. Only one entire fleet survived the voyage across the ocean. Since then, the kingdom from the island has split into many kingdoms and has minor strife between each other. For the most part, people live in peace with each other. Most of the races in DnD (Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, and so on.) Are believed to be either myths or to have died off in the Cataclysm. The truth isn't that far off. Most of the other races where decimated as much as, if not more then, the human race. Few times have any from these races been seen, and the few times most have, it was thought of as a fluke or an illusion by some mage. Despite the lack of these other races being seen, there is ample proof that some other races lived before the humans settled the current area of the world. There are many wonders that defy logic and reason, The Floating Island is likely the most popular and hardest to believe. That aside, there is much to do to finish rebuilding the empires. For further details, or to talk about and work on this with me, go here. If you would like to leave me a message here, I will get back to you as soon as possible.
