Info[edit]

A lot has transpired and I want to help communicate a few things. Just because one user acts one way does not mean it is the right way. While there are no clear guidelines for reporting users there is a User talk:Admin page to raise concerns. User:ConcealedLight has mentioned the issue of lying, which, is another warnable offense. If you are going to accuse users of behavior, please ensure you are accurate. In regards to the pages you are adding, do not (DO NOT) use other wiki pages as reference for balance. This is discussed on a page somewhere (can try to link later). Use the core rule books. Lastly, You've asked me to do an amazing task. I can help when requested or I see something pop-up but I cannot "baby-sit" (and really don't mean that negatively) your campaign. Ask questions. Review the Help:Portal links. There is a great deal of how things work and being up to speed will help you immensely for these situations. Thanks for reaching out, don't ever hesitate. sorry for the confusion Im new to this and was adding them back gradually if reference in regard to the disclaimer and sorry was needing help and you were the first friendly face i saw i was signing two name as it was a conser from both of the main editors of this homebrew im adding the wip and the disclaimers as i can back needing to make big changes to make it more clear and understandable im sure you are very busy i dont want to have any confusion if it happens again i will use User talk:Admin and leave the page unedited so it can be addressed by an admin and leave it up to them and i was giving for instance of "similar monsters" that exist so they would be able to relate to understand and have a point of reference they seemed unclear of how a monster could exist with thou statsDmoice
It is no worry, I understand all of this and every topic is merely for your info. Again, there is a little way the site works and if you don't learn it and follow it the sharks will get you! :p BigShotFancyMan (talk) 08:55, 6 September 2018 (MDT)

learning it cause just dived in new to wiki formatting a lot of it is just seeing if i like how something looks or feels in my head then go in and balance want to do custom rule sets guess need to make a design disclaimer on all the pagesDmoice 11:35, 6 September 2018 (EST)

Campaign Disclaimer[edit]

would you mind adding this {{Template:Campaign Disclaimer|campaign setting=[[Duel Terminal :Order of the Warlords (5e Campaign Setting)]]}} back to the pages you removed them from? BigShotFancyMan (talk) 07:44, 6 September 2018 (MDT)

Signature[edit]

I've noticed you sign with two names on certain posts. Please only sign one name. It could be confusing for user to know who they are talking to create an issue where one of you will say "that wasn't me" who posted. Hope you can understand that. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 07:46, 6 September 2018 (MDT)

Maintenance templates[edit]

Hi. Please avoid removing maintenance templates without addressing the issues they bring up, as you have done on Gem-Knight, Master Diamond (5e Creature). Thanks. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 10:36, 10 September 2018 (MDT)

are you able to write a Variant Rule for the armor classes you are wanting for your campaign?
Design Disclaimer shouldn’t be used to accept overly unbalanced benefits i.e. too high AC
The wiki strives to balance material compared to the core books, and as an unwritten rule use the DD in edge cases or when different mechanics are used.
If the creatures could be designed in accordance with 5e standards, and then a Design Note placed on the page: if using in dual terminal etc use this variant rule for AC. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 18:02, 11 September 2018 (MDT)

Working on bring monsters to a standard ac today Dmoice 18:00 9/12/2018 (EST)

Damage Calculations[edit]

Hola Dmoice! I gave a brief summary for one of the pages how this works. It also needs to be mentioned the number you are adding to a damage roll is based on a relevant ability, usually. Gem-Knight, Zirconia (5e Creature), Gem-Knight, Aquamarine (5e Creature), Gem-Knight Amethyst (5e Creature) all have +3 to damage but only the Gem-Knight Amethyst (5e Creature) has an ability with a +3 modifier (Strength). Examples from the Monster Manual [usually] follow this way of doing things which is just like how PCs calculate damage. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 07:09, 19 September 2018 (MDT)
