Is there any way to bring back the search bar?

The search bar is at the top right of every page, below Preferences and watchlist. Its not gone, just moved. --Woahluigi (talk) 19:27, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

While we're talking about margins and modernizing the site's layout, would it be possible to/could we talk about the idea of having a floating sidebar? If you scroll down on a moderately-sized page, you have an entire unused 2 inches of the screen on the left side. Of course, you could put ads in that space, but what if the sidebar would follow you down the page? Maybe also add some functionality to open and close it to create a more centered view. --ZarHakkar (talk) 23:50, 29 November 2024 (UTC)

Good in theory, but the sidebar takes up more space than my screen can show at once, so it may need condensing if that's the plan. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 03:53, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
