- XP, experience points, are earned by each protag over the course of game sessions.
- Your narrator determines when XP is awarded and in what amounts, but generally 1 XP is earned by each protag at the end of each game session.
- XP is expended by by training during downtime, to increase your proficiency bonus and gain new class levels.
- Different players can amass different amounts of XP, such as might happen if some players attend more games than others, or if a protag dies.
- It is possible to earn decimal XP. For example your narrator could award 1.5 XP, or 0.1 XP, or whatever.
