Platinum Piece. Common trade good (coin), 10 gp. A platinum piece (pp) is usually a platinum coin, but more broadly it can refer to any shape and amount of platinum weighing 10 grams (~0.022 pounds). A platinum piece is widely acceptable to be worth 10 gold pieces. The perceived value of platinum makes this the highest-value coin that has widely recognized value, though it sees infrequent use. Up to a thousand coins only count as one item in your bag.
