Some weird guy is making a shoddy knockoff of 5e for some reason.
- Character creation replaces 5e's character creation, though it's pretty similar. This includes races, classes, feats, spells, and the like.
- The armory replaces all existing equipment, including magic items, though again it's pretty similar.
- Rest and downtime replace 5e's short rests, long rests, and downtime.
- Injuries and death replace "dropping to 0 hit points."
- Fortes replace skills. perception is a separate statistic, not a skill.
- Perks replace feats.
- You can't make an "opportunity attack" unless you have a feature that says you can. This goes for NPCs and monsters as well.
- Everyone is proficient in all armor. Wielding a shield increases your AC by 1. If you're proficient with all martial weapons (or proficient with "shields" specifically) wielding a shield instead increases your AC by 2.
- "Two-weapon fighting" works differently. See the "light" property under weapons.
- Some conditions are different.
- Content assumes the use of the variant rules "simple inventory" and "contextual group initiative"—but these are optional.
Otherwise all core rules from 5e can be assumed to be unchanged (unless you're the narrator).
Almost nothing below has been play-tested.
