Electrum. Common trade good (metal), 50 gp per kilogram. Electrum is a naturally-occurring alloy of gold and silver. Electrum is widely considered to be half as valuable as gold by weight. Some regions of the world use electrum coins, each weighting 10 grams and generally worth 0.5 gp. Aside from coinage electrum itself is infrequently used as an alloy, and will often be smelted into its constituent parts.
