Size. The average adult human stands between 5 and 6 feet (150 and 185 cm) and weighs about 155 pounds (70 kg). Your size is Medium.
Speed. You have a walking speed of 30 feet.
Magic Resistance. You have advantage on any saving throw made against any spell or explicitly magical effect.
Human Determination. Before you make any d20 roll, you can choose to gain advantage on the roll. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish downtime.
Vocation. Gain proficiency in any tool of your choice. Alternatively, gain proficiency in one skill from Animal Handling, History, Medicine, Religion, Sleight of Hand, or Survival.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak Common and one language of your choice from Draconic, Eldritch, Goblin, Jotun, Sign, Sylvan, and Undercommon.
Starting Gear. You start with the following gear, in addition to any you otherwise have: any artisan tool, game set, or musical instrument you gained proficiency with through your Vocation.
Heritage. Increase two different ability scores of yours by 1 each. Alternatively, you can take on any folk heritage or hybrid heritage.

It's a human. You've probably seen at least one before.
A Complicated Relationship with Magic. Humans have historically been slow to adapt to spellcasting and magic compared to most other folk. Some suggest this is a lack of faith or imagination, while others consider it distrust or prejudice. For whatever reason humans have such a low affinity for magic they have a strong tendency to be less effected by spells than most folk, and some legends suggest humans can simply ignore magic outright if they don't believe in it. Other folk tell horror stories about a world with nothing but humans, where no magic exists at all. Even today, the most closed-minded of humans have a strong disdain for magic, and in illogical hysteria may even kill their own kind suspected to be witches or mages. Still, with the tutelage of elf or the might of titans, open-minded humans can learn to wield magic just as well as anyone.
Nomadic Origins. The earliest known records of humans suggest they have been nomads and hunter-gatherers—barely different from beasts in some ways—for thousands of years. The relatively recent titanic wars robbed the world of most of its natural riches and wonder, forcing human descendants to adapt to new lifestyles. The most renowned and successful of these new roles was as traders and travelers. Despite their other shortcomings, humans have a shockingly high amount of empathy and learn new languages and cultures quickly—especially at a young age. Their natural determination and nomadic origins let humans endure long journeys between even distant cities with relative ease. All these traits helped humans connect distant cities and peoples, even if most humans did so purely for self-interest and economic gain as traders and merchants. Today most civilized humans hail from such traders and explorers.
Everyone's Friends. Even during centuries of war, humans were generally trusted and liked, especially as humans made up the majority of travelers coming with food and supplies from faraway lands. In the modern era of relative peace, humans are at least tolerated by most folk—which is saying a lot for such a dangerous world filled with conflict. Humans as a whole are particularly close with vergar and elf thanks to trading minerals and food between the two peoples during the war, despite the tendency for vergar and elves to distrust each other. Some believe humans spreading motes of rapport to disparate people has helped dwindle the age-old wars that ravaged the world.
Everyone's... Close... Friends. Sometimes the empathy humans have for other folk goes to the extreme. Maybe it's just because human travelers and traders get a bit too lonely out on the road. For whatever reason, humans are far more likely than any folk to attempt to reproduce with someone from a different lineage. As a result, so many hybrid folk descend humans that terms like "half-elf" and even "half-dragon" simply assume the other half must be human.
Human Adventures. Given their legacy as traders, travelers, and diplomats between different people it's little surprise adventuring comes naturally to many humans. More than most folk, humans know well what can be gained from exploring the world—whether that be for material riches, to sate their curiosity, to escape their home, or for something much deeper.
