Barbarian[edit]

Barbarian is a subclass of champion.

Level  Proficiency
Bonus
 Features
1st +2 Intimidating Might, Rage
2nd +3 Fast Movement, Sudden Rage
3rd +4 Sense Hostility, Surging Rage
4th +5 Relentless Rage
5th +6 Endless Rage, Frenzied Rage

Intimidating Might[edit]

You gain proficiency in Intimidation. If already proficient, you instead gain proficiency in any skill from the options afforded to any champion at 1st level.

Additionally, if you intimidate with a show of power or violence, you can make a Charisma (Intimidation) check using your Strength modifier instead of Charisma.

Rage[edit]

At any point during your turn, you can use a bonus action to fly into a rage for 1 minute. While raging, you are under the following effects:

  • You have advantage on all Strength checks and Strength saving throws. (This does not include attack rolls.)
  • When you add your Strength modifier to a damage roll of a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike, you can roll the damage dice of your weapon twice and use whichever result is higher. You also gain resistance to all bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage dealt to you by the damaged creature(s) until the start of your next turn.
  • You cannot maintain concentration on spells or any other effects.

If you don't make an attack roll against a creature during your turn, your rage ends at the end of the turn. It also ends early if you fall unconscious or if you choose to end it (no action required).

Once you enter a rage, you can't do so again until you finish downtime.

Fast Movement[edit]

Beginning at 2nd level, while you aren't wearing more than one piece of heavy attire, your walking speed increases by 10 feet.

Sudden Rage[edit]

Once you reach 2nd level, you can fly into a rage at any time on your turn without needing to use a bonus action.

Sense Hostility[edit]

Your primal instincts give you sharp intuition into detecting vile intentions. Once you reach 3rd level, you have advantage on any Wisdom (Insight) check made to determine if a creature is hostile to you.

Surging Rage[edit]

Starting from 3rd level, you can begin your rage by expending a surge, even if you're out of rage otherwise.

Relentless Rage[edit]

At 4th level, you can fight through even grievous wounds. If you are dropped to 0 hit points while raging but not killed outright, you can make a Constitution saving throw. The DC for this save is 10, but increases by 5 each time you've succeeded on this save since you last finished downtime. On a success, you instead drop to 1 hit point, or remain at 1 hit point.

After you roll this save but before the outcome is narrated, you can expend one of your vigor dice to add its rolled result to your saving throw total.

Endless Rage[edit]

When you're 5th level, you don't need to make attacks to keep your rage going, and your rage doesn't end if you fall unconscious.

Frenzied Rage[edit]

At 5th level, flying into a rage fills you with a burst of exceptional, momentary adrenaline. On the turn you enter a rage, you can Attack or Dash as a bonus action.
