Urbraxus Assault Prosthetic (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, uncommon (major tier) (requires attunement) The Urbraxus warband is one of the most feared in the eastern deadlands, but not solely out of massive numbers, or tactical cunning. A large part of this danger comes from their signature weapon, the assault prosthetic. Built out of whatever scrap metal they can find, the prosthetics themselves can take a variety of forms, pneumatic drills, small collections of saws, and bladed jackhammers are all seen. However, they always mount at where the shoulder should be. However, the brutal effectiveness is only one of it's dangers, as it poses one to the user as well. When "revving" the weapons, it abuses the semi-magical connection between the weapon and the user, stealing power from them to empower the item. Statistics. The Urbraxas Assault Prosthetic deals 1d8 bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing(chosen at creation) damage, and has the heavy property unless it is currently being revved. Revving. As a bonus action, you can power or depower the weapon. While it is being revved, you take 1d6 necrotic damage(1d8 if you are able to cast spells) when you make an attack with it. On a hit, you deal extra force damage equal to the amount of hitpoints you lost when taking this damage. Anti-Magic Susceptibility. Due to it’s ramshackle nature, you must take one minute to restart it, instead of one round. For more rules, see the Marvelous Magitech Enhancements and Replacements page. |
