Weapon (any), rare (+1), very rare (+2), legendary (+3) (requires attunement) You gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon as determined by its rarity. You can use a bonus action to speak this magic weapon's command word, causing purple flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 1d6 (rare) or 2d6 (very rare or legendary) fire damage to any target it hits. If you hit an aberration or undead with this weapon, they take an additional 1d6 (rare), 1d8 (very rare), or 2d6 (legendary) radiant damage. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword. |
