Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol Common 1d4 lightning 10 lbs. Range (20/120), light, plasma cartridge

Also known as the plasma pistol, the type-25 directed energy pistol releases a supercharged bolt of plasma which creates an electromagnetic pulse.

Plasma Cartridge. This weapon uses a single plasma cartridge as ammunition. Each shot uses 1% of its charge, and reloading takes an action or bonus action.

Small Armament. When making an attack against an enemy within 5 feet, you do not have disadvantage.

Over-Charge. A creature wielding this weapon may charge it as an action for 20% of the weapon's plasma cartridge. If they do not spend their next action as an Attack, it loses its charge. The next attack the wielder makes with this weapon while it has this charge deals 2d8 lightning damage, deals twice as much damage to temporary hit points, and causes vehicles to become paralyzed until the beginning of the user's next turn.
