Wondrous item, very rare

When an animal close to a strong forest spirit is slain by a humanoid for its body, the forest spirit will bind a piece of the creature's essence to the animal's body in order to punish the humanoid. The curse will come into effect when the animals skin is used in the making of some form of clothing. After being donned, during the next long rest, the wearer must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or the animal spirit will bind to the wearer. The curse will still be in effect in the clothing is taken off. Over the next 1d10 minutes, the wearer will transform into the beast the clothes came from, as though it had been targeted by the polymorph spell.

  • A weasel fur coat
  • A wolf fur coat
  • A set of badger pants
  • A set of elk skin shoes
  • A crocodile scale shoes
  • A set of rabbit fur mittens
  • A set of deer undergarments
  • A raven feather hat
  • A snake skin belt
  • An eagle feather coat
