When you hold it in your mouth, you can use an action to fire a beam of energy at a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. Make a ranged spell attack with a +7 bonus. On hit, the beam deals 2d8 damage. If you have resistance to a damage type, the damage dealt may be one of those resistances. If you do not have resistance to any damage types, this beam deals bludgeoning damage.
