Wondrous item, uncommon These magical smith tools can function as normal smith's tools. When you make any check using these smith's tools, add +1 to your result. Also, if you are proficient with smith's tools, add your proficiency bonus to the check twice instead of once. While holding this tool set, you can lay your hands on any object and tell whether it is magical an any way. In addition, the tool set has 8 charges. You can use an action and expend one charge to tell what school of magic and rarity a certain magical item you lay your hands on is from. You can also use your action and expend 3 charges to cast identify on a magical item. The tools regains 1d6+2 charges at dawn. In the event that you spend any downtime crafting a magical item, if you use these tools, the amount of time needed to craft the item is cut in half. |
