Armor (Hat), Legendary (requires attunement)
On the outside, it is a hat made from fine linen. however, the inner lining has a warning written: "Bear this hat and feel my wrath, for beyond this brim leads a harrowing path". Additionally, the brim of the hat is lined with tiny white stones resembling teeth. Anyone who looks at the hat will feel uneasy about it, but cannot tell you exactly why. WARNING: THIS HAT WILL SCREW YOUR PLAYERS OVER. MAKE IT VERY CLEAR TO YOUR PLAYERS HOW HARD THEIR LIVES WILL BE IF THEY PUT THIS EVIL HAT ON.
Cursed glare Anyone who sees the hat, worn or otherwise, must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1d4 turns. If they succeed, they are immune to the glare forever.
Curse. This hat is cursed. Only a wish spell or similar magic can remove the hat. Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a wish spell or similar magic. When the hat is worn, the serrated teeth sink into the skull of the bearer, and a voice whispers into your ear "This will be fun". At dawn, the bearer must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw to resist the hats power. On a failure, ALL ROLLS, SAVING THROWS, AND CHECKS ARE DEALT A PENALTY EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF POINTS YOU LOST THE THROW BY.
