The Garlick Brade (5e Equipment)
Weapon (Longsword), rare (required) This 40 inch long sword appears to be made of hardened dough-like substance, with signs of high heat being applied to the edges. It's crossguard is made from the same material and it's pommel is surprisingly simmilar to a head of garlic. While the blade does not look sharp and is made of surprisingly soft materials, when it sences hostile intentions from its veilder it hardens and magicaly does 1d10 (or 1d12 if held in both hands)slashing damage. It also functions as a +1 magical weapon. Nurisher The blade can have up to 4 parts at a time broken off of it, each 5 inches long. When ingested each works as a potion of healing (healing 2d4+2), but can not be used on unconsious creatures and requires an action to consume(can not be fed by others). Each part removed decreases the swords damage dice by 2. d10->d8->d6->d4 (it is still increased by 2 when held by both hands). With cooking utensils and a succesfull DC15 check one can bake 1 part of the blade and magicaly attach it back. This can be atempted once per day. Vampires bane If the target hit with this blade is a Vampire or any "Vampiric creature" it takes aditional 2d10 acid damage Scrumptios symbol of divinity If the blade is vielded by a cleric affiliated with the "Garlic domain" the blade deals aditional 1d10 radiant damage.(Optionaly it can be used as a holy symbol, freeing up the hand for somatic gestures while still being drawn). |
