Wondrous item, rare

A steel canteen that cannot be seen into through the lid, and has one of 100 liquids in it, determined by the DM rolling a D100. The player does not know what is in it until is has been poured at least a little. It is always exactly 1/4 pound, no matter what is in it. It is immune to damage from the inside by the liquids it contains, and has perfect thermal insulation. If something is put into it unnaturally, it will be instantly annihilated when the cap is replaced. it can only be refilled 5 times a day.

32 When opened, a loud boom emanates from the flask, lasting 0.1 seconds. It deafens everything in a 1/8 mile radius for 3 minuets.

33 When opened, a bright light shines from the opening, lasting 5 minuets and blinding anyone who stares directly into the flask for 1 minuet.

34 There is ant hill type dirt inside

35 There is 1000 live fire ants inside

36 There is 1000 live black sugar ants inside

37 There is Himalayan sea salt inside

38 There is 3 bullet ants inside

43 There is a liquid that knocks you out upon inhaling the fumes inside. If you are near the liquid, you must make a constitution saving throw every 6 minutes against a DC of 10. If failed you are unconscious and take a flat 2 poison damage instantly, ignoring resistances and immunities. You are knocked out for 5 minutes, unless woken by way of smelling salts. The liquid is completely harmless if mixed with water at a general 1:1 ratio.

44 There is a hallucinogen inside that does nothing unless consumed by mouth, in which case the consumer will see, hear, and feel vivid hallucinations of something that happened in their past, usually a negative memory.

45 There is glycerin inside

47 There is gallium inside, at exactly 95 degrees Fahrenheit when first poured.

48 There is a vacuum of empty space inside

51 There is a friendly venomous coral snake inside which will wrap around your arm or neck and protect you from grappling attack with its reaction. 1 HP, AC 18, reaction attack to grapple +1, 1d4 HP poison damage.

67 There is invisible gooey liquid inside, doing absolutely nothing else.

68 There is a single tiny spider that is very aggressive and has a venomous bite. If you are bitten, you must make a constitution save, DC 18. On a fail, you ramping poison damage every hour, starting at 1 and increasing by 1 every hour. Most common venom cures do not affect it, and it ignores resistance and treats immunity as if it were resistance. The spider can be milked for venom which can be mixed with a healing potion to cure it.

72 There is little candies inside, of 10 different flavors

73 There is an antivenin that can cure the bite of the spider from #68, along with any other common spider of the small size or smaller.

74 There is a paper inside describing in extreme detail how to do something that the DM chooses.

75 There is sparkling water inside

76 There is boiling water inside

77 There is chlorine gas at a low concentration inside

78 There is water that slowly expands when not contained inside

79 There is melted cheddar cheese inside

80 There are duck feathers inside

81 There is radioactive sludge inside

82 There are fungal spores from random mushrooms inside

83 A tiny imp pops out

84 A 200 mph gust of wind explodes out of the nozzle

85 There is an arc flash that goes off instantly, taking the path of least resistance to the ground. If it hits a player it does 2 D8 per player level lightning damage.

86 There is isopropyl alcohol inside

87 When opened, an explosion comes out of the nozzle as if it were filled with dynamite. It deals 3 D10 fire damage to anything in a 100 meter radius from the nozzle in a cone shape and knocks back characters and objects of medium size or smaller by 30 feet.

88 There is cockatrice breath inside

89 There is silver glitter inside

90 There is liquid mithral inside, worth 500 gp.

91 When opened, a key will fly out and open the nearest locked door. It will fly around obstacles and is destroyed once the door is unlocked.

92 There is a fart inside. When opened, the DM rolls a D4 to determine how bad it smells.

93 There are ostrich egg whites inside

94 When opened, a person will pop out suddenly, looking exactly like the person who opened the lid. They will follow the orders of the first person they see, act like the person they look like, and die after 2-3 days.

95 When opened, a dark violet gas will fill the room or 75 foot radius is you are outside, showing everyone within their worst fears. It will last 30 minutes before dissipating.

96 When opened, the flask begins to suck up everything around it that can fit through the hole if the items are not being held by a person of small size or larger. The sucking lasts 1 minute. When looked into, the flask is empty. All items have been transported to the astral plane.

97 There are 1000 tiny pearls inside, with 90% being white, 9% being black, and 1% being pink. They have uses in potions.

98 Nothing happens that you can see, but somewhere someone in the world dies instantly.

99 The players will most likely not know what happened, but a powerful demon was released from a prison on the astral plane. The demon knows how he was released, your location, and knows the spell plane shift and can use it with perfect accuracy.

100 Roll a D20. If you get a 1, everyone in the room or in a 40 foot radius is reduced to 1 hitpoint and paralyzed for 5 hours. If you get a 20, the person holding the flask gets to make a wish. The wish is used as follows: The player declares what they are wishing for, then rolls a D20. On a 20, the wish automatically succeeds. On a 1, the wish backfires and the opposite effect happens. For example, If you wish for eternal life and get a 1, you will die instantly. The in-between effects of rolls for wishing and rolls for what is in the flask on a nat 100 are the DM's choice.
