Template talk:Locked Page

I can't edit this, but to make it a little less visually imposing I made some changes that I would love to see implemented. This design works much better in conjunction with the table of contents that is present on most pages.

Upon lack of reply and further dissatisfaction with seeing the large banner across what are to be the best pages
we have to offer. I propose yet another even smaller form of the banner for consideration, this time with the text visible upon being moused over. Clicking either the link to the talk page or the lock itself will take you there. --Meep (talk) 21:35, 7 April 2018 (MDT)
- I like this smaller version, and I imagine no one else may respond. I will unlock this page for the time being. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:03, 8 April 2018 (MDT)
- Where do you want to include the expanded information about locked pages (or what should the talk page link be for)? --Green Dragon (talk) 08:20, 9 April 2018 (MDT)
- While I do like the small locked template, it doesn't appear to work on mobile. Because of this, I would prefer it if the template still said why a page was locked(current version or condensed revision).--Blobby383b (talk) 18:44, 9 April 2018 (MDT)
- I included the reason with the template, as hidden text. Does this work for everyone? --Green Dragon (talk) 23:28, 9 April 2018 (MDT)
Why does the template now just say "talk page" and "primary contributor"? Is this a bug? Because right now it's ugly and not informative, even when expanded. Meep's first suggestion at the top looks better, IMO. If we're going with the current look, we might as well just remove it altogether.--GamerAim (talk) 07:11, 10 April 2018 (MDT)
- How about now? Could you maybe give an example of what you are talking about if it is something else? --Green Dragon (talk) 08:58, 10 April 2018 (MDT)
- This one, like Meep suggested above:

- I find that rather obtrusive, so I say, yes, try out some things with it. --Green Dragon (talk) 10:00, 10 April 2018 (MDT)
