Technology[edit]

This page covers all of the technology humans, LAI, and Cudel have created and use. This includes transportation, armor, weapons, general common life tools, and more!

Native Technology[edit]

The technology invented and used by humans and LAI.

Large Tech[edit]

Large advancements that has changed humanity as a whole, and are proof of their undying innovation.

  • Dyson Sphere

A collection of small satellites that orbit around the sun and collects the energy from it for humans.

  • Orbital Lasers

A series of large lasers used to terraform Mars.

  • Stellar Engine

An engine positioned by the sun that can move the entire solar system.

Transportation[edit]

How the people move around, whether that's in space, land, or water. This is the future, and we're very efficient with movement.

  • Sky Hooks

Large hooks that orbit satellites and planets that fling cargo and ships to large distances.

  • Sonic Trains

Extremely fast trains used for public travel within cities, and sometimes from city to city.

Weapons[edit]

Weapons are regulated, but uncertified weapons still collect dust in some households. Most people have them, after all, it has only been a few decades since the 500-Year-Long War.

  • Pistol

A good ol' fashioned pistol. It still hits like a motorcycle, or rather, a bullet.

  • Rifle

Rifles are still a hot commodity, mostly because they are an old relic. But, they still can kill.

  • Taser

Although in the past they have been mostly harmless, due to the 500-Year-Long War, tasers have become lethal for the LAI and humans. In an effort to adapt to hard metal exteriors, humans created lethal tasers designed to damage internal electrical hardware in LAI.

Vibroblades also progressed further during The Tragedy, as the want for weapons effective against metal increased, so did the innovation of vibroblades.

Armor & Clothes[edit]

What the people wear! Armor has been developed to become lighter and easier to wear, and eventually, a lot of citizens wear them as regular clothing. There is also tougher, thicker armor that policing and military forces mainly wear.

Tools[edit]

What the people might use on jobs, or daily life! The average person has a Nano Watch and a Multitool, but they definitely don't have job-specific tools such as a Gardening Toolset.

A 31st Century phone.

  • Multitool

A chunk of nanomachines that can turn into many things, as long as it is less than 3 lbs. The multitool can turn into (and is limited to turning into) a: flashlight, wrench, screwdriver, small spade, cup, and timer.

  • Gardening Toolset

A briefcase of nanomachines that can turn into any garden tool you could possibly want! A gardening toolset can turn into the following tools (and more, but that's up to a DM's discretion) a: hoe, rake, gloves, shovel, snow shovel, a small pick, weeder, hand pruner, and long pruner.

Common Life[edit]

What the average person uses every day, and effects a normal person's life. Someone might consider some of these privileges, but regardless, they are what is used publicly in every-day life.

Cybernetic implants that can be attached to humans, LAI, and aliens.

  • Nano Weights

Weights that can combine with other weights to become heavier using nanomachines. Makes working out much easier.

  • Nano Chairs

Chairs that use nanomachines to adjust to the user's height, weight, and posture. Helps people maintain good posture while sitting down.

  • Nano Doors

These doors lock by melding with a nanomachine frame, making it impossible to lockpick and harder to bust down.

  • No-Screen TVs

No-Screen TVs rely on holograms to project a TV screen.

A Moving Zone is a larger-scale employment of nanomachines, and it is used in playgrounds, sports, game areas, and more. It creates an area of which can create various shapes of mass, as long as it doesn't use all of the nanomachines available. In playgrounds, a Moving Zone is used to change the play structure, like changing a slide to a tower.

  • PC

The PC, it can shrink to fit in a purse, but it has enough computing power to play the Resident Evil 4 Remake at a consistent 480 FPS.

Technological Concepts Employed[edit]

  • Nanomachines
  • Flat and 3d Holograms

Alien Technology[edit]

The technology invented and used by Cudel.
