- You're right. I took the liberty of adjusting the dice to inflict an average damage of 39. The DMG guidance for a spell like this suggests an average damage of 41.25, but that difference is a small price to pay considering it's also a free misty step and its damage scales better than any other spell. - Guy (talk) 04:04, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
Thank you very much, I wasn't fully sure if the damage was balanced myself :) Although the DMG's spell creation guide is deeply flawed; just look at it's 9th level suggestion- 14d6 or something to meteor swarm's 40d6 (and a mile range). You're right though.

Transmutation?[edit]
Teleportation spells are usually (if not always) of the conjuration school . See misty step, teleport, and dimension door. Why was this changed to transmutation? - Guy (talk) 14:22, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
