Article Spotlight[edit]

Werecockerel: The Chicken Race of D&D. This article I found a doozey, almost comical. I am surprised Guy attempted to make sense of the article and that ConcealedLight didn't simply put it up for deletion. The most sensible thing about this article is the traits. I picture this bird race like a would a dumb chicken and it would make a table entertaining. The problem for me is the history of the race. I am reading through it and it is like the intro to an anime trying to cram everything in right away. WOO! it. is. a lot. I'd love to see it spread out more and articulated better. An image of these chicken folk that appear no different than avians would be interesting too. Almost wonder if this could have been a flightless subrace of the avians instead of an entire race with no subraces. Rather fond of that idea more; more flavor for the avian.
Thanks for reading my Article Spotlight. Some active users really helped salvage an anon user's idea and I thank them for that. Cheers! Red Leg Leo (talk) 12:54, 10 September 2020 (MDT)

Thanks for the spotlight! I'll try to clean it up as per your suggestions. Looking back at it, I think I was taking from the cliche of an evil wizard origin a lot for other races too.--Yanied (talk) 19:00, 10 September 2020 (MDT)
All good Yanied, I didn't expect anyone to make changes to it per se. I hear ya on the cliche though and if you revamp it or flesh out kudos. I'll try to catch it when it happens too. :-) Red Leg Leo (talk) 20:23, 10 September 2020 (MDT)

Dude! That art is great lol. And I am so happy it doesn't look like the avian. Great upload. Red Leg Leo (talk) 20:24, 10 September 2020 (MDT)

Haha, yes, they only look like an avian at a glance from a distance. Otherwise they look like a kooky bird.--Yanied (talk) 08:05, 11 September 2020 (MDT)
