The style of the snake is similar to the feat mobile, it allows the monk to attack and escape without receiving almost any attack of opportunity.
While the bear style is like the Dwarven Toughness of the hill dwarf. The monk hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
