Weird Gates[edit]
Don't the first two gates kinda mess with eachother? When not used in tandem, they're fine, but as soon as you boot up the fourth gate, you now have a +0 to AC and -5 to attack rolls. Sure, you now do 2d10 damage, but getting that off is gonna be a hell of a lot harder. The way the fourth gate does this feels like an oversight. --SwankyPants (talk) 07:20, 4 January 2021 (MST)
At a closer look, a lot of this class is weird. Ki Destruction, for example, can permanently debilitate any creature that fails a save, but if they succeed you take ~11 damage. The other subclasses just deal a boatload of damage, nothing like this. There's missing durations, actions required, Weave severing dispels everything they have ever cast, if you hit someone once every 12 years, in 24 years you can use Strength Draining strike, and a load of other awkward stuff. This class needs some serious help with duration and terminology.--SwankyPants (talk) 07:30, 4 January 2021 (MST)
