Talk:Tough Commoner (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
For some reason I really don't like the 'grifter' subclass, so I am backing it up here and removing it from the class page: Arquebus (talk) 08:20, 20 July 2020 (MDT)
Grifter[edit]
- You are a swindler, con man, hustler, huckster. You deceive people to acquire their money.
- You have the charlatan background.
- Easy Mark
- Starting at 2nd level, you have advantage on insight rolls intended to find out if someone is an easy mark.
- Deceptive Behavior
- Starting at 5th level, you have advantage on deception and performance rolls intended to present yourself as someone other than who you are.
- Unfounded Trust
- Starting at 9th level, you have advantage on persuasion rolls intended to build an ongoing false relationship with a mark.
- Scott Free
- Starting at 15th level, you have advantage on deception and performance rolls intended to make off with valuables without the mark noticing for at least 1 week.
Experience[edit]
I'm now starting to use these in my campaign. Arquebus (talk) 17:42, 23 August 2020 (MDT).
- I used the lawman subclass although it was not an important character. Arquebus (talk) 09:43, 24 October 2020 (MDT)
Casting vs Non-casting[edit]
[DONE] Some tough commoners can cast spells, some can not. I think I want to divide this class into two classes, one that casts spells and one that does not. I think the non-casting tough commoners should retain the name, and the casting commoners should have a class named 'Caster Commoner' or something. Arquebus (talk) 09:40, 24 October 2020 (MDT)
Status of this Page?[edit]
I today had an idea very similar to this, but I searched it out first before making anything. I notice that there are several incomplete professions. Is this page still being worked on? --ZarHakkar (talk) 18:15, 27 March 2024 (MDT)
