Among other potential uses, it scouts or triggers traps for you, it can be used to "flank" (and thereby enable a rogue's sneak attack), it can distract an enemy enough to take at least one attack, it can draw a guard away from their position, etc. As a player I would take this over almost all official cantrips and I would bee casting it all the time. - Guy 09:30, 13 May 2020 (MDT)
