Talk:Steel Bones (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Balance[edit]
I wrote this feat as a custom for a character in a game I'm playing in, a human Artificer 8/Fighter 4 who fights like a tank. I pretty much needed to give her more strength, so I gave her hip augments so she could enchant herself as a Girdle of Giant Strength. I'm happy with the way it turned out for the purposes of this game, but I'm curious what other people think. Is this feat balanced? A friend is telling me it's underpowered, that I should at least lower the prereqs, but I wanted some second opinions. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.249.97.205 (talk • contribs) 14:50, 13 May 2009. - First thoughts: You have to be assisted, even if you fulfill the 8 ranks in Heal and the Craft Construct. Also, by the time that you have enough money to buy this upgrade AND the enhancements you should be over +4 fort save anyway. --Sabre070 02:22, 13 May 2009 (MDT)
