Talk:Squirrelfolk, Variant (5e Race)

Shouldn't Squirrel folk also have a minus 2 to Strength or Constitution? This would bring them in line with other small races such as Kobolds.

They are also missing the "Has disadvantage in direct sunlight" that comes with Dark Vision. I honestly think they should have a racial proficiency in Perception rather than Darkvision, but things should at least stay consistent.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 2604:2d80:400e:93a4:445f:a728:4d4a:a023 (talk). ...what? Those comments seem to be made assuming this race was made for a different edition.
Most races in 5e with darkvision don't have sunlight sensitivity.
Extremely few races in 5e have penalties to any ability scores. At the moment I believe only the orc race in Volo's Guide to Monsters does have an ability score penalty. The kobold race, in that very same book, does not. - Guy (talk) 18:39, 29 June 2018 (MDT)

no, the kobold most certainly does have minus 2 strength. i do agree on everything else though - TheGrim42
