Hello there! I'm just gonna give a bit of feedback on this background, if you don't mind (not going to edit it, that's for you, o great creator).
  • Perhaps elaborate a little on the background story itself? All it is is one sentence, and all the others are questions for the player choosing the background. I don't have anything against this, it just seems like it might be good flavor to add a little bit more detail to the background story itself.
  • Backgrounds in the WotC books such as SCAG, PHB, and adventure books don't give choices for skill proficiencies, I would suggest you pick two and make it so all Shipwrights are proficient in those two skills.
  • Saying just "Artisian's Tools" for Tool Proficiencies is very vague, you should say "one type of artisan's tools" like you said for equipment (unless it means Shipwrights are proficient in all artisan's tools, which is too much).
Otherwise, this seems good. --Cosmos (talk) 11:18, 16 February 2019 (MST)
