I am concerned that 'Arcane Secrets' will result in game breaking combos by using spells from multiple classes not intended to be available together because you can choose spells from any class. Arquebus (talk) 05:48, 19 March 2020 (MDT)

Are there any more game-breaking combos I'm missing than would be possible using the bard's 'Magical Secrets' feature? There's already an Unearthed Arcana wizard school that lets you learn cleric spells. I was actually more concerned about the 'Arcane Omnibus' feature, but decided the DM had total control over what spells a player finds in books and scrolls. Incidentally, the inspiration for this subclass is the Sage from Dragon Quest. --Jikennosamurai (talk) 22:17, 20 March 2020 (MDT) edit: I added a very severe restriction to the "Arcane Omnibus' feature, limiting spells you can copy to rituals, which sort of works thematically as acedemic knowledge shouldn't really be immediately applicable.
