This was a fun race to create because I wondered just how I'd create a mermaid-esque race like this, and had lots of fun creating the abilities. As for grading, I originally gave Liquid Voice a 1.5 because it's pretty much a very limited version of the Wizard's School of Lore Mastery's 2nd level ability to change the damage type of spells. As for Mermaid Tail, I just gave it a -1 since I figured needing specially made armor (which would cost more due to it being custom made) and being able to use mounts would be rather big, but I had never seen it given an actual score on races that have a similar trait (like Centaur (5e Race) and Cervitaur (5e Race) for example). Torrent got a 1 because it's pretty much a copy of Weavile (5e Race)'s Shadow Dash, but it's limited to swimming.

Also I couldn't add the code for Shape Water as the spell isn't written in the SRD.

Hopefully I did the math right on this one. I actually never expected this to get such a high score, but I did give it some strong abilities (although some of them can only be utilized in water). It'll be interesting to see how this race plays, in or out of aquatic adventures. --MetalShadowOverlord (talk) 01:55, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
