Physical Description[edit]

Weavile are short creatures with weasel and feline qualities. Their bodies are covered in a pale gray fur. Reddish feather-like protrusions adorn their head, wrap around their necks, and jut out from the ears and rear, acting like a tail. Weavile with smaller ear-feathers are female whereas those with larger ones are male. Three sharp talons protrude from their feet, which three equally sharp claws adorn the hands. Their eyes are typically the same color as their feathers. Two small fangs stick out of the mouth, and a strange, golden circular marking on their foreheads.

Other specimens have been noted as having pinkish fur with yellow feathers and eyes. Rumor has it one Weavile had green fur and was said to have been an incredible fighter.

History[edit]

Although Sneasel were first discovered near Mount Silver in Johto, Weavile weren't discovered until years later in the snow-covered mountains of Sinnoh.

Society[edit]

Weavile typically live and hunt in groups of five in snowy areas. Though larger packs exist, hunting parties usually consist of five Weavile while, in larger communities, pairs of Sneasel will hunt and steal eggs from other creatures. While traveling and hunting, Weavile will scratch symbols and markings into wood, rocks and ice whose meanings are only known to fellow members of the race. While hunting, the party will attempt to corner and surround prey with expert coordination. Needless to say, these creatures are fast, intelligent and savage, making them incredibly dangerous in groups, but one flaw is that they are somewhat fragile.

Weavile Names[edit]

Weavile names are usually either Common or Undercommon.
