Talk:Pegasus Knight (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
Looks good, and all in one edit too! Do you write it offline first? Marasmusine (talk) 15:07, 29 August 2016 (MDT)
- I think I took a while with this. I have a pastebin with everything on copy paste just in case. I don't think this is finished but it's something. Most like tricky subjects is the pegasi itself, as a "not a creature" feature, and + 1 bonuses on Swoop and Continue (Which might be just annoying when it comes to playing) Well, also a question, how do the movement effects stack in e5? I can ask my GM if you don't know. Berzul (talk) 15:22, 29 August 2016 (MDT)
- I have a few minutes before I go to bed, so here's a few quick notes.
- 5e doesn't have hardness. For the egg, you could just leave it's vulnerability to DM adjudication. If it's important, you can give it so many hit points and an AC (for comparison, wood is AC 15).
- Gentleness: Animals are assumed to be of the "beast" type, you could specify that you get advantage on beasts that are domesticated mounts. Since pegasi are of the celestial type, we already know they don't count.
- Swoop. Does "+1 to that test" mean +1 to the DC?
- There is a more elegant way to write swoop that better uses the 5e mechanics. At the moment it mixes movement with an attack, it should be separate ("if you do this kind of movement and then take the Attack action, then you get this bonus.") Don't have time to fully explain now.
- 5e tends to avoid temporary stacking bonuses.
- I'll examine more another time. I'm not sure how this class would fair in a typical dungeon adventure. Marasmusine (talk) 16:51, 29 August 2016 (MDT)

What are the flair point costs?[edit]
In the list of flairs it does not show the point cost for most them and i want to try this class out in a game—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.89.34.88 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.
- "a flair point" is singular. --Green Dragon (talk) 11:34, 10 May 2018 (MDT)
- Ok but what I meant was, what are the cost for each flair as in how many points do they cost or is it up to the dm?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.89.34.88 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.
- As stated in the Pegasi Flair feature, "Using a flair requires you to spend a flair point", which is 1 flair point.--Blobby383b (talk) 04:31, 13 May 2018 (MDT)
- oh thank you and sorry for the trouble.
