Talk:Orochi-bito (3.5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
AH I Love the Orochi. I play them in magic the gathering. I would love to use them in D&D but this Orochi race is to powerful to use for a new player like me. You think you could make a weaker version for a newer player like me?--Yozuk 22:57, 13 August 2008 (MDT)
- Talk to your DM? He may be able to work out a Monster Profession class, which gives benefits over time. -- Eiji 00:34, 14 August 2008 (MDT)
- ok I'll do that.--Yozuk 16:05, 14 August 2008 (MDT)
Modifications[edit]
I changed its type from Humanoid to Monstrous Humanoid, since a four-armed snake man isn't a Humanoid, but in doing so, it increased a few things, such as its base attack bonus, saves, and gaining darkvision... so I'm not sure how that fudges its balance out. But, at least now you know. --Ganteka 13:11, 8 September 2008 (MDT) I change its favorite class from Ranger to Shaman;Warrior for a couple of reason number one there is only one Ranger in Orochi Card(and a scout) but 9 Warrior and 10 Shaman(and 2 Monks) in the TCG Magic:The Gathering and also in the three book of Kamigawa(Outlaw:Champion of Kamigawa,Heretic:Betrayers of Kamigawa,Guardian: Saviors of Kamigawa) there are Shaman(summoning Myojin of Life's Web)and Warrior(fighting against Soratami Army, fighting against Toshi,Michico and theirs friends) A little note in the Bonus Language: How an orochi could learn Giant if there are no Giant in Kamigawa???? Benjamin Kalas(benkalas@hotmail.it) 14:58, 14 October 2008 Orochi-Bito main god is the Myojin of Life's Web(as we can see in the three book)Benjamin Kalas(benkalas@hotmail.it) 11:30, 24 October 2008
