Talk:Mageslayer (5e Subclass)

i am curious as to why did you make this subclass a charisma-powered one... all charisma casters are either magical beings and draw their power from their origin of magic, so sorcerers or have a deal with a higher being that grants them magic, so paladins and warlocks,

in between these two there's the bard who manipulates the Weave thru their harmonious music

but the inquisition spells and the rest of the Mageslayer features are learned, he studied for them, so why isn't it intelligence or wisdom? Did you make the Mageslayer use charisma for balance purposes?

Fluff says they stop magic through sheer force of will. Sounds like charisma to me. I reckon it’s because EK uses intelligence, and wisdom doesn’t make much sense, so they used the last available score. Also, balance? Why would balance play into this? --SwankyPants (talk) 06:34, 1 June 2021 (MDT)
