Talk:Livingsteel (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Ok, I can see the point about resistances and immunities. Which ones are viable to stay, however, because I can see the immunity to poison is credible, at least. As is maybe, resistance to slashing? But not bludgeoning or piercing.--Yanied (talk) 17:58, 2 March 2018 (MST)
- I'm thinking more in terms of game balance. It makes sense for the race to get an immunity to poison, but that's a very powerful trait and is part of the reason that people consider the Yuan/ti race to be disruptively overpowered. I think they should be given resistance to poison a la the dwarf. It makes more sense for the race to be immune to poison, but sense must be subservient to game balance. I also think their metal bodies should qualify them for the Heavy Armor Master feat, so that you can get the reduced damage from physical attacks, rather than just giving them flat resistance. I would also reduce their natural armor just a tad. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 23:47, 2 March 2018 (MST)
