Is cunning action gained at level 1 or lv 2? Same for sneak strike. In the general table it´s gained at level 2 and in each individual table at level 1 (or viceversa in case of sneakstrike). What do you learn first, sneakstrike or cinning action?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gen (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

The table of the base class is the correct one. I'll update the others accordingly. - Guy 11:01, 19 September 2018 (MDT)

Spellcasting Adept does not function as written. Without providing access to a subclass, it offers no spell list at all if you choose sage (because sage's spell list is determined entirely by subclass), and only a small selection of cantrips and 1st-level spells with no magic point progression if you choose researcher (because researcher magic point progression is determined entirely by subclass). Should I revert the nerf to Spellcasting Adept, allowing it full access to a chosen subclass's spell list? - FlameUser64 (talk) 09:11, 1 April 2021 (MDT)

I have an idea that I really want some feedback on. What if Mystic Mastery had an additional effect of letting you use a bunch of stamina and your full action to use a Mystic Art you don't know? - Idonthaveanaccount 01:51, 3 January 2022 (MDT)

Garo Cantrips and Spell Use Clarification[edit]

I've noticed there was a list of cantrips for the Garo on the Spell Lists Page. However there is nothing mentioned about cantrips in the Garo entry on this page. You might also want to clarify how Garo Magic works if it does not use MP or Stamina. Can each spell known be cast once before being expended, requiring a short or long rest before it can be cast again? If that's the case, does multicast apply to every spell known or only one?

Added Instrumentalist Subclass[edit]

I thought this system could use a bard subclass. I created one that has features from valor, eloquence, creation, and lore bards as well as base bard features. I tried to fit the theme of instruments being an important role in the legend of Zelda series while also making instrumentalist talents that revolve around the triforce themes. What is notably different from traditional bards is that there is no spell-casting feature. Typically in the Legends of Zelda series, it is not the ability of the musician that produces magic, but rather the items. I also opted to make this class's features dexterity based rather than charisma in order to represent mastery over the instruments rather than charisma, but if this subclass is too SAD, making the features charisma based could help balance, though I think another ability score like Wisdom or Intelligence could be an interesting way to represent musical talent. I also feel that the Instrumentalist Talents are not quite balanced with each other. The idea is for Song of Power to enhance martial characters, Song of Courage to encourage risk-taking, and wisdom to be more of a generalized improvement to what inspiration can do normally. I know that Brute plus Song of Power could be problematic with the improved extra attack feature, but extra attack also seems pretty rare in this supplement. I also could use help with formatting and balance issues. I am curious how this interacts with multi-class and the base opportunist features. I feel that the Horn instrument may be one of the few one-handed instruments that would allow for a weapon in the other hand to attack. I am curious if opportunist damage output while inspiring with a bonus action would be broken, but then again, regular bards can cast high-level spells and inspire so I am not sure if the added martial capabilities will be too much. I considered giving the Instrumentalist a better capstone feature because I always felt that it was underwhelming, but I also think that buffing it may be too much. I think that keeping the Instrumentalist as a non-magical sub-class could open up the magical instruments to be artifacts such as the ocarina of time and wind waker that could more easily fit into campaigns without Instrumentalists. I also am not sure how to link this subclass to the header, do the image caption, and could use some help with flavor text in general.

Edit: I was unaware of the Bard Subclass within the comments of Opportunist when I made this. I notice that Bard seems to be a caster more than something that gives inspiration. If there is an issue with a subclass being too noisy if it has both casting and inspiration, maybe this could be a split. Inspiration could also perhaps be one of the opportunist talents if casting and inspiration is the issue.
