Talk:Honkai Valkyrie (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
Capstone[edit]
I don't really like the decision to move the Ultimate Ability feature from level 10 to level 13. From my experience, most DMs rarely run games past levels 9-11 or so, because after that D&D becomes not just less balanced but also a lot less fun. Keeping it as a level 10 unlock makes sense because then it really does feel like a nice capstone that players could use at levels most campaigns realistically end at. I mean, QTE is a nice feature too so I can kind of see the logic of it, but it's just not as cool or as empowering as being able to actively do stuff like nuking your enemies or healing/buffing your allies. 2601:285:4080:2800:5934:C1ED:CA83:A61 11:02, 10 February 2022 (MST)
- Unfortunately your experience does not match D&D design. The change will be evaluated on the classes strengths and weaknesses, and the overall design and balance. --Green Dragon (talk) 13:56, 14 February 2022 (MST)
Weapon skill recharge[edit]
Going through this class, I noticed that Weapon Skill doesn't say when you regain uses. In my opinion, I think that having the uses come back on a long rest is the most balanced version. 15:44, 1 June 2023 (EST)
Formating[edit]
I just saw the new banner that got put on the class and was wondering what exactly needs to be edited. I did take liberties to explain and map out the mechanics of some features but due to how expansive some of them are I need specific things to hone in on. --ThighRash (talk) 18:54, 4 July 2023 (MDT)
Advanced Weapon Skill[edit]
Missing 3 Advanced Weapon Skills based on previous choice of Weapon Skill. To be specific, there is currently no section in Advanced Weapon Skills for the Instant Draw, Ethereal Grenade, and Excessive Force Weapon Skills. One minor thing, there is an Advanced Weapon Skill called Deflecting Palm. I believe this is meant to be the upgrade for the Redirect Weapon Skill? Might need clarification. --ExiaMemoria 09:55, 29 October 2023 (MDT)
