Balance[edit]

Looking at this spell, I believe it is too powerful as a 1st level spell. Given that cure wounds, heals around 7.5(1d8 + 3) at 1st level, this spell is too good given that it provides close to the same amount of healing 7(2d6) and also gives the target bonus damage. To balance this, the damage and healing numbers could be tweaked to keep it as a 1st level spell or it can perhaps be changed to being a 2nd level spell.--Blobby383b (talk) 09:40, 3 November 2021 (MDT)

"Dead" or not[edit]

There were minor edits recently regarding adding the word "dead" to the spell wording. I think it would sort of make sense from a medical standpoint, since the inspiration is kind of like defib. In 5e terms, maybe this is where something like "the creature must have died no more than 1 minute before this spell is cast on it"? --Yanied (talk) 19:31, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
